Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450 g) pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup (150 g) cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (50 g) shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp water
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal portions.
- Roll each portion into a circle, about 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter.
- Make the Filling:
- In a bowl, mix the cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper.
- Stir until everything is well combined.
- Fill the Calzones:
- Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of the chicken Alfredo mixture onto one side of each dough circle.
