  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning 
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional) 
  • 1 cup pizza sauce 
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 
  • 20–25 slices pepperoni 
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese 

Instructions

 Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim off any excess dough around the edges.

 Prepare the Filling

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef, sausage, and diced onion until browned and fully cooked.
  • Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  • Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if desired), and pizza sauce. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.

 Assemble the Pie

  • Spread a thin layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on the bottom of the pie crust.
  • Evenly spoon the meat mixture over the cheese layer.
  • Sprinkle another layer of mozzarella cheese on top of the meat mixture.

 Add the Toppings

  • Arrange the pepperoni slices neatly over the top layer of cheese.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.

 Bake

  • Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  • Allow the pie to cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
