Ingredients
- 6 slices bologna
- 4 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 thick slices tomato
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- Cooking spray, as needed
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients so everything is ready to assemble.
- Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on each of two bread slices.
- Place one tomato slice on top of the mayonnaise on each slice of bread.
- Add one slice of cheddar cheese over each tomato slice.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and coat generously with cooking spray.
- Cut a small “X” in the center of each bologna slice to prevent curling.
- Fry the bologna for 3–4 minutes per side, until browned and lightly crispy.
- Place three slices of fried bologna onto each prepared sandwich base.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, press gently, and serve warm.
