Ingredients

  • ½ cup salted butter
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • ½ cup mini M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Preheat:
    Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the Butter & Sugars:
    Beat butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Eggs & Vanilla:
    Mix in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients:
    In another bowl, whisk flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix Everything:
    Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture just until combined.
  6. Fold in Add-Ins:
    Stir in chocolate chips and mini M&M’s.
  7. Shape & Bake:
    Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between each.
    Bake 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden.
  8. Cool:
    Let cookies rest 5 minutes on the sheet, then transfer to a wire rack.
