Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 and 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 2 cups light brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

For the Frosting:

  • 4 to 5 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10 x 15 cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and eggs using an electric mixer. Blend at low speed until crumbly.
  3. Add milk, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Blend at low speed until the ingredients are wet, then beat at medium speed for 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  6. For the frosting, warm the peanut butter and honey in the microwave until soft. Add vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and milk. Beat until smooth.
  7. Spread the frosting over the warm cake and sprinkle with mini-chocolate chips.
  8. Let the frosting set before slicing and serving.
