Ingredients:
For the Steak:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs, room temp
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
For the Mushroom Gravy:
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 cups beef broth
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Pinch black pepper
Instructions:
- Mix steak patty ingredients and form four oval patties.
- Heat oil in a large skillet and brown steak patties 3-5 minutes per side.
- Remove steak patties and add mushrooms and onions to the skillet.
- Cook until tender, then add flour and stir until lumps are gone.
- Slowly add beef broth, whisking constantly, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Add steak patties to the skillet and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
