Ingredients:

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon herbal tea leaves or tea bags (chamomile or peppermint)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Silicone mold (small sphere or candy size)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Honey Base:
In a small saucepan, combine honey, lemon juice, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper (if using). Gently heat the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally, until it is warm and well combined—be careful not to let it boil.
  2. Add Tea Flavor:
Stir in the herbal tea leaves (or cut open tea bags to add the loose tea). Let the mixture steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. Strain the Mixture:
Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the tea leaves and solids.
  4. Fill the Molds:
Pour the strained mixture into your silicone molds, filling each cavity. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate or freeze until completely set (about 1 hour).
  5. Remove and Store:
Once the tea bombs are hardened, pop them out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

To Enjoy:
Place one tea bomb in a mug and pour hot water over it. Stir until fully dissolved and sip for soothing relief.

Notes:

  • These tea bombs are a great way to boost your immune system during cold and flu season.
  • Feel free to adjust the tea flavors based on your preference.
