This decadent dessert combines tender cinnamon rolls, spiced apples, and rich caramel sauce, all baked together into a perfect one-pan treat. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for pure bliss!
Ingredients:
1 can (20 oz) apple pie filling
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
1 can (17.5 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing included)
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Directions:
Prepare the base: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
Add caramel and cinnamon rolls: Drizzle the apple layer with caramel sauce. Separate the cinnamon rolls and cut each into quarters. Scatter the pieces evenly over the apples.
Top with nuts (optional): Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts over the cinnamon roll pieces for extra crunch.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Add the icing: Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle the included icing packet over the top, along with a bit more caramel sauce if desired.
Serve warm: Best served fresh and warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Tips:
Want a richer flavor? Add a sprinkle of nutmeg or ginger to the apple layer.
If you prefer extra caramel, swirl some more into the apples before baking.
Storage:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
