Garlic Parmesan Tortellini with Sausage & Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy), crumbled
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions:

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled Italian sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the broccoli florets for a few minutes until tender.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked sausage to the skillet, then stir in the tortellini and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss everything together until well coated.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
