Cheesy Chicken Tortilla Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil (for toasting)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce (optional)
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, shredded cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add diced bell peppers if using.
  2. Assemble the wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and spoon a portion of the chicken mixture onto the center. Add shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes if desired.
  3. Wrap tightly: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a wrap. Repeat for all tortillas.
  4. Toast the wraps: Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve & enjoy: Slice in half and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or salsa.
