Ingredients:
Dough:
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1 glass of water
- 1 glass of milk
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 teacup of oil
- 1 egg (reserve the yolk for the topping)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups flour
For the Filling:
- 3-4 potatoes
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 4 tablespoons of milk
- Parsley
For the Topping:
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon of milk
Instructions
- In a suitable kneading bowl, combine milk, water, yeast, and sugar. Mix well.
- Add oil and eggs and continue mixing.
- Gradually add flour and salt, kneading to form a soft dough. Cover and let it sit for 1 hour.
- For the filling, mash the boiled potatoes until smooth. Add butter, milk, and salt, and mix well. Stir in the chopped parsley.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 3 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a square shape.
- Spread the filling over the dough and roll it up.
- Cut the rolls into pieces using a dough scraper.
- Place the pastries on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the egg yolk and milk mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until golden brown.
