Ingredients:

  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 4 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Egg Wash: Beat eggs and milk together in a bowl.
  2. Mix the Coating: Combine flour, garlic salt, paprika, poultry seasoning, and black pepper in a large plastic bag.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Place chicken in the flour mixture, seal the bag, and shake to coat. Dip in egg mixture, then again in flour mixture.
  4. Fry the Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet to 365°F. Brown chicken on all sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Cook Through: Turn heat to medium-low and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  6. Drain and Serve: Place fried chicken on paper towels to drain excess oil, then serve hot.
