- 2 cans of Rotel (10 ounces each), diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 can of whole tomatoes (28 ounces), including the juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 small piece of garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro (or more to taste)
- Juice of half a lime
- 1 jalapeño pepper, sliced into 4 pieces and thinly sliced
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients—Rotel, whole tomatoes (with juice), onion, garlic, jalapeño, sugar, salt, cumin, lime juice, and cilantro—into a blender or food processor.
