Ingredients:

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced green peppers
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir until evenly mixed.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the individual triangles.
  5. Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
  6. Carefully roll up each crescent roll, ensuring the filling is securely enclosed.
  7. Place the filled rolls on a baking sheet, and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the filling is hot.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve hot.

Storage Tips:

  • For leftovers: Allow the baked chicken stuffed crescent rolls to cool completely before storing.
  • Place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freezing: These crescent rolls can be frozen before baking.
  • Once you’ve rolled them up, place them on a baking sheet and freeze for about 1 hour.
  • Then, transfer the frozen rolls into a freezer-safe bag or container.
  • When ready to bake, simply place the frozen rolls on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.

Reheating Tips:

  • Oven reheating: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the leftover rolls on a baking sheet and cover loosely with aluminum foil to avoid drying them out.
  • Bake for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  • Microwave reheating: For a quick reheat, microwave the rolls for 30-45 seconds, but the crust may not be as crispy.
  • Air fryer reheating: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and heat the rolls for about 4-5 minutes, keeping an eye on them to prevent over-browning.
