- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 lb broccoli florets (455g)
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced (225g)
- 3 tablespoons oil, for frying
- Sauce:
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- ⅓ cup reduced sodium soy sauce (80mL)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 cup chicken broth (240mL)
- ¼ cup flour (30g)
Instructions:
- Cook Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Cook Vegetables: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the same pan. Add mushrooms and cook until softened. Add broccoli and stir-fry until tender.
- Make Sauce: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add remaining sauce ingredients and stir until smooth.
